Composition of RIBA Committees
Cultural Knowledge and Outreach Committee
The Cultural Knowledge and Outreach Committee comprises Trustees, Council Members (not- Trustees), RIBA members (including one student and one overseas member) and 4 external experts in arts/culture (digital outreach), audience, public engagement and social impact/public benefit.
The Education & Learning Committee
The Education & Learning Committee comprises Trustees, Council Members (not-Trustees), a broad range of RIBA members, academic representatives of RIBA validated schools of architecture (both UK and international) and a representative of primary/secondary education (non-architect).
The Membership Committee
The Membership Committee comprises Trustees, Council Members (not-Trustees) and members from a range of practice sizes (including students), both from the UK and international membership.
The Practice & Policy Committee
The Practice & Policy Committee comprises RIBA Trustees, RIBA Council Members (not Trustees), external (non-member) experts in advocacy and public/government relations, RIBA members from a range of practice types (small, national, international, sector experts) and public/private sector client representatives.
The Standards Committee
The Standards Committee comprises Chartered RIBA members and non-RIBA members. Non-members are appointed for their professional experience, including standard setting in regulated industries, exposure to continuous professional development and the setting and enforcing of codes of conduct.
